An assembly server hack IA generated images
While we were surfing on the Great Internet, we met an interresting article of Akanoa [1] which was wondering how to reduce the size of his mini HTTP server binary file. His ultimate code in x86 assembly manage IPv4 with only 376 bytes.
Since we are writing assembly code for some time, we wondered if we could went some step ahead with futuristic technologies (x86-64 and IPv6). Spoiler: we managed to reduce the size down to 224 bytes [2].
Without transition, Claire-Line Nass (from AFP Factuel) wondered why some people were using AI to publish (fake) photos of unbelievable creations on social networks… [3, 4]. Why AI? because it’s a lot more efficient than us to produce bullshit. Why publishing those fakes? we can cite robots that want to impersonate humans (and will be sold to communicators), those who’ll sell scam to their new friends (false foundings or shops) and the rising of traffic toward some pages (facebook or web).

On their side, TF1 [5] and Libération [6] came back to the last hacks with personnal data leaks. As usual we don’t know the technical details but we can bet that all started with a phishing mail, the usurpation of a valid user and then the copy pasting of the accessible data which will be then sold to complete the profils of the next victims. To summarise: phishing to make more phishing.
